Sakura no hana (Cherry blossom)

Hallo Ihr Lieben, heute möchte ich Euch gerne ein kleines Japanesen-Mädchen vorstellen, sie heißt Sakura no hana. Ihr Name bedeutet Kirschblüte und in Japan steht diese für den Frühling. Vielleicht bringt Sakura no hana uns endlich den lang ersehnten Frühling hier auf der Nordhalbkugel.

Sakura no hana hat den für Japanesen typischen großen Kopf mit großen Augen. Allerdings hat sie für einen Japanesen relativ lange Beine mit gestreckten Füßen, was sie grazil aussehen lässt. Sie kann also nicht richtig stehen - aber auf Spitzentanz-Zehen trippeln.

Sakura no hana ist in rosa und pink gehalten, wie eine Kirschblüte. Ihr Fell ist aus kurzflorigem rosafarbenem Sparsemohair gemacht und pinkfarbener langfloriger Sparsemohair setzt an Innenohren, Brust und Füßen Akzente. Ihr Latz ist mit weißer Borte verziert und sie trägt eine Schleife aus dieser Borte am linken Ohr. Zudem zieren zwei süße Knöpfe ihren Latz.

Ihr Gesicht, ihre Hände und Füße habe ich mit der Needlesculpting-Technik herausgeformt. Nase und Krallen wurden mit pinkfarbenem Garn gestickt. Ihre Augen sind außerdem mit weißem Wollfilz unterlegt. Gefüllt mit Mineralgranulat und Schaafwolle ist sie recht schwer für ihre Größe.

Mit ihren acht Gelenken (Arme, Beine, Handgelenke und doppeltes Halsgelenk) ist Sakura no haha sehr beweglich.

Sakura no hana ist ein braves Teddymädchen, die Blumen liebt. Am liebsten nascht sie kandierte Blüten. Die macht sie gerne selber: Man nehme z. B. Rosenblütenblätter oder Gänseblümchenblüten, bestreiche sie mit verquirltem Eiweiß, zuckert sie und trocknet sie bei 50 Grad Celsius ca. 1 Stunde im Backofen. Sonst isst sie auch gerne Brot mit Butter und Holunderblütengelee. Am liebsten trinkt sie Limonade aus Holunderblüten.

Dear readers, today I would like to introduce a little Japanese style teddy girl, her name is Sakura no hana. Her name means Cherry blossom and in Japan, it represents springtime. Maybe Sakura no hana finally brings us spring-like weather and temperatures here in the northern hemisphere.

Sakura no hana has a big head and big eyes, which is typical for manga style. For a Japanese style teddy bear, she has quite long legs and stretched out feet, which makes her look delicate. She can not stand properly - but she can tiptoe!

Like a cherry blossom, Sakura no hana is light pink and pink. Her fur has been made out of light pink short pile sparse mohair and pink long pile sparse mohair covers inner ears, chest and feet. I decorated her pink mohair bib with white edging and she wears a white bow behind her left ear. Additionally, her bib is decorated with two sweet buttons.

In order to shape the bear´s face, feet and hands I used the needle sculpting technique. Her nose and claws have been stitched using a pink yarn. Furthermore, I realized the white of her eyes using white wool felt. Due to her filling, which is mineral granules and sheep's wool, she is quite heavy for her size.

With eight joints (arms, legs, wrists and double neck joints) Sakura no haha is very movable.

Sakura no hana is a good teddy girl who loves flowers. Her favorite sweets are candied flowers. She loves to make this delicacy at home: Take rose petals or daisy flowers, coat them with egg white and sugar them, then let them dry in the oven at 50 degrees centigrade for an hour. But she also likes bread with butter and elder blossom jelly. Her favorite drink is elder blossom lemonade.

Sakura no hana has found a wonderful new home at Mrs Braun's in Böblingen.
