What would a nice big breakfast be without jam? When having breakfast I had the idea to make this bear called "Little plum jam", because of the tasty plum jam I had that morning. And I wanted this teddybear to lay on a slice of bread or toast as lazy as jam. For this reason I filled his feet, legs, belly and arms partially with mineral granules. The sheeps wool, that fills the rest of the bear, is not stuffed in firmly but quite loosely. The fact that his 8 joints are also quite loosely dangling around, contributes to his chilled-out-look, too. He can't stand - but he can lie much the better! His fingers and toes are sculpted and shaved. His sculpted face is also shaved. I applied a little bit of dye to make his mouth look dirty. His fur is a fantastic alpaca fabric, very short pile, great plum-violet colour. As butter uses to accompany jam, I stitched his nose and claws with a thread coloured like butter.

"Little plum jam" loves lying or sitting on a slice of bread but he enjoys even more being held in somebody's hands. Of course his favourite hobby is having a long big breakfast - or brunch.
Little PJ travelled to England early in December '05 in order to be sitting under his new mum's Christmastree on time. I am sure he will have a great Christmastime with Jessica this year and the years after as well!
