sewing: pouffe for children's room

Dear readers, this week, I've sewed a pouffe using a pattern by Pattydoo. My pouffe is more like a big pillow, because I already had a pillow which I wanted to re-cover. Here comes my turquoise-colourful version of this pattern - plus I used a decorative stitch on the side part!

Matching the turquoise curtains in the children's room the side and bottom part of the cover are made out of the leftovers of the curtain fabric. I've reinforced the curtain fabric with iron-on vylene. The upper part is made of different cotton fabrics.

You also would like to sew such a pillow and you are missing a long needle for pulling the buttons together in order to create a nice shape? Then have a look at my DaWanda Shop, I offer such needles!

Don't be afraid of sewing together the parts for the upper part. If the points do not exactly meet in the middle, don't worry! After fastening the buttons, no one will notice!
